Who We Are

We are a Holy Spirit–filled community of believers in Jesus Christ, passionately pursuing God’s presence and living out His Word in every area of life.

Weekly house life groups are foundational to Harvest Church because we believe real transformation happens in relationship — when we gather in homes, share life, study God’s Word, and pray together.

‘So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved’ Acts 2:46-47

What do we Believe?

1. The Bible is true and inspired living Word of God.

The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, and the authoritative source for all Christian faith and practice.

2. There is one true God, existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Trinity - one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each fully God yet distinct in personhood.

3. We believe that Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary; lived, died, was buried, rose from the dead after three days and has ascended into heaven where He now sits at the right hand of the Father.

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins, was buried, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven where He intercedes for us.

4. In the fall and sinfulness of man and that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the redeeming blood of Christ.

All people are sinners by nature and choice, separated from God. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in the atoning work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

5. Divine healing is made available through the redemptive work of Christ on the cross.

Divine healing is provided for in the atoning work of Christ and is available to all believers today through faith and prayer.

6. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a distinct experience from salvation, empowering believers for Christian life and service. The initial evidence is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

7. We practice two ordinances: (1) Water Baptism by immersion after repenting of one's sins and receiving the gift of salvation. And (2) Holy Communion (the Lord's Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's suffering and death for our salvation.

We observe two ordinances: Water Baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Christ, and Holy Communion as a memorial of Christ's sacrifice, both as acts of obedience to Christ's command.
